At the end of last year I had the good fortune of doing a Masterclass for the Gnomon Workshop, in which I spent about 11 hours sculpting this totally sexy character in front of the camera. ReplyDeleteHey Dave, I finally picked this up (at long last). The quality and volume of stuff you turned out at Weta was always awe inspiring to me. And what a humbling moment when I first saw how absolutely masterful your pencil work was too! For years I wished I could take a day or two and just watch you sculpt without it being super creepy and awkward. I really loved finally getting that chance :)
